Your First Visit

Dr. Naar with Chiropractic equipment

After arriving for your first appointment, you will be asked to fill out a case history. The doctor will then review your health history to determine if your problem can be helped through chiropractic care.

A thorough examination will be conducted which will include complete orthopedic and neurological tests as well as a computerized spinal analysis to detect any structural abnormalities and locate areas of your spine causing nervous system interferences.

With a complete understanding of your condition, your chiropractic spinal adjustment will be administered. An "adjustment" means the specific manipulation of spinal bones that are slightly displaced or fail to function normally. It consists of applying pressure manually or with a hand held instrument to the areas of the spine that are out of alignment (subluxation). Adjustments help restore proper spinal function and begin the healing process.
